Welcome to
the ancient Celtic County of
KERNOW
"Kernow" is the
old Celtic name for the present county of Cornwall which is situated
at the far end of the narrow south western peninsula on mainland Britain.
The name comes
from the old Cornish language which is a version of Gaelic.
As a race, the
Cornish are fiercely patriotic and many still regard Kernow as a separate
country as it was thousands of years ago. We defend our heritage most
vigourously, especially when referred to as "English"! The Cornish
flag, which comprises of a white cross on a black background, is known
as the "Cross of St Piran" who is one of the patron Saints of Kernow
and it is the oldest flag in Europe.
Being part of
the Chopper Club and living in Kernow dictates one of the most essential
criteria for the creation of a custom machine - reliability. This
is due to the long distances that we cover travelling the length &
breadth ot the Diamond Empire.
