AC/SEEDY are without a doubt Ireland's top AC/DC tribute act having toured the country extensively over the past year. Their popularity is based on their no-frills attitude and precise performances of their mentor's classics, recreating the original Bon Scott era 'DC sound of raw riffs, boozy blues and no nonsense rock n' roll. The Seedy set consists of AC/DC classics such as Highway To Hell, Whole Lotta Rosie, Sin City, and Let There Be Rock along with rarities and album tracks from the Bon Scott era and also thrown in are one or two surprises from the Brian Johnston era. Always guaranteed is a night of high energy, no nonsense rock n roll whenever they hit your town.
AC/DC themselves, were formed in Australia over 30 years ago and to date have clocked up over 140 million album sales worldwide making them one of the worlds premier recording acts.They are responsible for some of rocks finest moments from their debut High Voltage in 1974 right up to their latest studio release Stiff Upper Lip from 2000. In February 1980 tragedy struck the band, when legendary front man, Bon Scott, was found dead after choking on his own vomit, the coroner stating that he had drunk himself to death. The band were devastated, but within four months they had pulled themselves back together, and with new lead vocalist, Brian Johnson, were ready to take on the world once more.
